These Terms govern your use of the Rebel Ring mobile application as a gym member. Rebel Ring is operated by Rebel Fight Co (London, Ontario, Canada). Your gym provides your membership and the physical training programs; Rebel Ring provides the app you use to manage that membership. Please read the liability and assumption-of-risk section carefully — it is important.
By creating an account or using the Rebel Ring app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are using Rebel Ring on behalf of a child as their parent or legal guardian, you accept these Terms on the child's behalf and are responsible for their use.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be old enough under the law of your province to enter into these Terms, or have a parent or guardian do so for you. Notify your gym or us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
Your membership relationship is with your gym, not with Rebel Ring. Your gym sets its own schedule, pricing, programs, policies, and rules. Rebel Ring provides the software your gym uses to operate. Rebel Ring is not responsible for your gym's business decisions, the conduct of its staff or instructors, the quality or safety of its facilities, or its membership policies. Questions about classes, billing amounts, refunds, promotions, or gym policy should be directed to your gym.
Membership fees, trial terms, and any passes are set by your gym. Payments are processed securely by Stripe on behalf of your gym, which is the merchant for your membership. Rebel Ring does not set your membership price and does not receive your membership payment. Rebel Ring never stores your full payment card details — these are handled by Stripe.
Recurring memberships renew automatically according to the terms your gym offers until cancelled. Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are governed by your gym's policies and applicable law; raise them with your gym first.
Combat sports and physical training involve inherent and significant risks of injury. This section limits the responsibility of Rebel Ring and Rebel Fight Co for those risks.
You understand and acknowledge that participation in martial arts, combat sports, fitness, and related physical training — including activities scheduled, booked, or tracked through the Rebel Ring app — carries inherent risks, including the risk of serious physical injury. Your decision to participate in any activity is between you and your gym.
Rebel Ring is a software tool for scheduling, check-in, communication, and progress tracking. Rebel Ring and Rebel Fight Co do not provide instruction, supervision, medical advice, or physical training, and are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in any gym activity. Any liability waiver you sign with your gym governs your training; the app's recording of that waiver is for administrative convenience only and does not create a training relationship with Rebel Ring.

When using Rebel Ring, including chats, announcements, and other communication features, you agree not to:
Your gym and Rebel Ring may remove content or suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you submit — for example messages, your profile photo, and your bio. You grant Rebel Ring and your gym a limited licence to store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service for you and your gym. You are responsible for the content you post.
Rebel Ring may display limited in-app promotions for our own applications and for contextually relevant martial-arts products or services. These promotions are not personalized through cross-app tracking, and your personal information is not shared with advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We work to keep Rebel Ring available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control, including outages of third-party providers such as Apple, Google, Stripe, or our hosting providers. The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rebel Ring and Rebel Fight Co, and their operators, are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Rebel Ring and Rebel Fight Co to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Rebel Ring (which, as a member, is typically nothing, since your payments go to your gym) or twenty-five Canadian dollars ($25 CAD). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the app at any time. Your gym may end your access if your membership ends. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including assumption of risk, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario for any dispute not subject to other agreement, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
